Destiny 2 is such a Grind!

I'm not an avid Destiny 2 player but I do have a look at the game every time there's a new expansion. Since Beyond the Light came out, I thought I would pick it up and see what changed. New world, few new mechanics but same old grind and boy is there ever any grind.

I get it, most games have some grind but Destiny 2 IS grind with a world and a few other mechanics thrown in. It's fun in short bursts, at least to me, but it's a game that gets tiresome real quick. I, somehow, think that the new expansions will change the mechanics enough that the grind won't be as tedious but little has been done related to this.

Obviously, Destiny 2 is still a massively popular game - I've seen people level 300+ after only a few short weeks into the new seasons... it's just a game that wasn't really designed for me which sucks because I would love to love this game.
