Tired of Being a Casual Gamer

I'm too old to be a pro gamer but with old age comes change. I went from being a casual player, or someone that would tip toe from one game to another, to a more focused gamer, or someone that spend most of his gaming time only in a handful of games. The reality is that I no longer have time to spend learning complex mechanics or deep stories or play seasonal type games - I want to play games that I know will stick around for a while.

The list of games that I like and fit this criteria is, as you would expect, short. The below are what I mainly focus on now:
  • Rocket League.
  • Mario Maker 2.
  • Super Smash Brother Ultimate.
This is not to say that I never play any other games but most of my gaming time is spent with these ones as of late.
As you've probably noticed, all of the games on the above list are not games that go through seasonal releases and have been around for a bit. Now you may argue that you can stick with an older version of a game, even when there's a new one out, but we all know that the support ends, and the player base shifts, when ever there's a newer version of a game out.

Am I actually good in any of these games? Not really but I know that with focus and time I'll figure them out.
