They Hating The Games I Like

What do you do when the games you love are getting panned by critics and the sales are not that great? This most recently happened to me with the release of Ghost Recon Breakpoint. While I love the game, and I feel it's one of the best I ever played, I feel alone in the sentiment.

This is especially bad because we all know that games that "failed" commercially are not as likely to get subsequent releases. The gaming industry is a business and businesses have to make money in order to remain in business. Basically, why would a company keep pouring money into a franchise that doesn't deliver?

When a game gets bad review, bad sales and bad word to mouth those that haven't yet tried the game for themselves are not as likely to pick it up. They tell themselves that since it feels like most people hated it that they will too and that's a real shame because sometimes real gems are lost this way.
The only thing that I can think of doing in situation like this is to keep sharing positive information about the game with the hopes that it will entice more people on trying it for themselves. Sure, they may hate it but they won't know until they try!
