Playing Fallout 4 Again Feels Like the First Time

I haven't touched Fallout 4 in 2 years and when I picked it up again recently I was surprised at how little I remembered of it. Almost everything felt like it was my first time playing it.

Part of the reason for this is because Fallout 4 let's the player do what the heck they want to do. It's entirely up to you if you want to do the missions or just explore and I remember doing a lot of exploring, with little questing, last time I played which is likely why the game feels like a new game again.

The same could be said with the last few Bethesda games. There's something amazing about being able to pick up a game, after a few years of not playing it, and feeling like it's the first time you ever played it.
