There's never been a better time to play Rocket League than now. The game has been out since 2015 and has recently become free/cross play. This means that the game had 5 years to improve and by having it free (and cross play) there are more people than ever playing it.
What is Rocket League? It's a Soccer game that you play with cars ... sounds crazy because it is. The game is simple in its control yet difficult to master as it's all about car positioning and hitting that ball just the right way to get the results that you want.
Because the creator of Rocket League, Psyonix, is now owned by Epic it is expected that both Fortnite and Rocket League will have cross events. We can already see this with the first even called "Llama-rama". If you satisfy all the conditions of the event you get the Fortnite bus as a reward (awesome!)
